Open role.Product Engineer.
AI desktop app + mobile. You'd work across the whole stack, directly with the founder.
What we do
Our flagship is an AI chief-of-staff that lives on the customer's machine — an Electron HUD, a TypeScript setup engine, a vendored Python agent engine, voice, scheduled agents. It ships to real paying customers on Mac and Windows.
Alongside it: mobile apps built with React Native / Expo, and a Node backend on Railway handling payments and fulfillment.
What you'd do
- Ship across the stack — desktop, mobile, backend. Small team means no "not my layer."
- Own releases end-to-end — build, sign, notarize, upload, verify. Shipping discipline is taken seriously: every release checksummed and logged.
- Work AI-native — our dev workflow is heavily agent-driven (Claude Code, Codex). You orchestrate and review as much as you type.
- Talk to the product, not just the ticket — our users are non-technical, so plain language and ruthless simplicity beat clever abstractions.
The stack
You
- Strong TypeScript, and comfortable finding your way in unfamiliar codebases.
- Shipped something real — a product people actually use.
- Bias for the smallest diff that works. Edge cases must earn their code.
- Self-directed: you'll often get a problem, not a spec.
Nice to have
- Electron / desktop packaging experience — codesigning and notarization scars welcome.
- Expo builds.
- LLM agent tooling.
How we work
Async-first. No pointless meetings. A direct line to the founder. B2B contract.
